Alfred Akhere

Alfred is a senior from Rockaway Beach, New York majoring in Industrial and Labor Relations and minoring in Law and Society and Africana Studies. His legal interests are mainly in entertainment law and intellectual property law, where he is interested in providing a proper experience for creatives in the future. On campus, he served as the Director of Finance for both the Black Ivy Pre-Law Society, as well as Scholars Working Ambitiously to Graduate. To add, he was an Inaugural Ithaca High Road Fellow during his Spring '25 semester, and is currently an ILR Peer Mentor. This past summer, he interned at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP as a Records Management Intern, and previously interned with Paramount Pictures as a Creative Music Strategy Intern and the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility as a Climate Advocacy Policy Intern. In his free time, he can be found at Libe Cafe getting work done, listening to music on the slope, or getting a quick workout in at Crunch.
