Kashyap is a sophomore from Chicago, IL, studying Information Science and Government with a minor in AI. He is interested in the intersection of AI and law, focusing on issues like data privacy, national security, AI companions, and chip/export control policy.
At Cornell, Kashyap is involved with the Cornell Policy Group, Cornell Political Strategy Group, Cornell Tech Consulting, and Cornell Consult Your Community. He also serves as a College of Arts and Sciences Ambassador and channels his passion for music as a member of Cornell Tarana, the university’s South Asian a cappella group.
